Job Description
- To ensure company development, implementation and review of appropriate strategies and policies meets its current and future business objectives.
- On a day-to-day basis manage the company in an efficient and profitable manner and adhere to the guidelines of the Group.
- To direct and lead the Company, achieving the sales, after sales and turnover targets as agreed with GM / regional manager
- Develop and maintain a sound proactive sales and marketing strategy covering pricing/discounts, engineering solutions and customer contact in all facets of the Company’s customer base.
- Achieve the net profit target by efficient cost control budgeting and producing a monthly/annual profit and loss account.
- Effectively oversee the financial control of the company, adhering to Company targets. This will include the control of cash flow/liquidity.
- Responsible for Health and Safety, including risk assessments, keeping abreast of and conforming to the latest legislation.
- Human resources - effectively recruit, retain, manage and develop all staff. This should include regular performance measurement and appraisals.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in production and sales, ensuring the highest level of consistency.
- Lead and participate in the formulation of general company policies and objectives which sustain and promote the growth and profitability of the business.
