Job Description
- Conducting the Power Function activities including generators, transformers, Power distribution, MCC, MDP, EDP, Access control, telephone, Elevators, UPS and surveillance systems.
- In addition to establishing, maintaining and managing Hikma Egypt Building Management System (BMS).
- Establishing and managing the Building Management System (BMS) in cooperation with third party systems vendors
- Assessing the BMS performance on a continuous basis through using standard techniques.
- Controlling and following up on all generators, transformers, Power distribution, MCC, MDP, EDP, Access control, telephony, Elevators, UPS as well as surveillance systems (e.g. cameras and access points)
- Extracting all BMS system reports and sending them to QA function for follow up
- Ensuring the smooth functioning of all electrical units and equipment
- Conducting the testing and calibration of temperature and humidity sensors and ensuring compliance of readings with set standards
- Following up on all BMS and electrical systems maintenance activities, as well as troubleshooting and resolving daily power issues
- Coordinating with HVAC Supervisor regarding HVAC systems electrical issues
- Coordinating the procuring of all needed supplies with the purchasing function and ensuring maintaining a sufficient inventory of consumables and spare parts
- Ensuring power availability during emergencies to key machinery
- Reporting power consumption to the organization on monthly basis
- Suggesting plans and programs to boost the effectiveness of the Engineering function
