Job Description
- Work closely with planning department to help achieving the preset production plan.
- Search for approved international suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history.
- Prepare price comparisons to ensure compliance with the agreed upon contract price.
- Negotiate with international suppliers to achieve best material price offer and best service.
- Prepare foreign purchase orders, solicit bid proposals and review requisitions for materials or merchandise.
- Review and follow up on all foreign purchase orders requested by all concerned parties/departments.
- Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time, and in case of problems trace shipments and follow up undelivered goods.
- Issue purchase report reflecting the status of purchase orders even they are opened or closed ones.
Job Requirements
- Experience of 5 years at least in same position
- Excellent communication skills
- Perfect English language
- Experience in dealing with ERP system (SAP, Oracle) is preferred
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Chemical industry or FMCG background is a MUST.
