Job Description
- A Leading Egyptian Firefighting Firm is seeking a suitably qualified Sales Engineer Manager to aggressively sell, manage and expand its range of firefighting products and build long-term relationships with potential lead customers. This is a hands-on role which will encompass account development, sales skills, products expertise (in selling) and sales target achievement.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a team of sales engineers
- Hire, coach, develop top talent, and provide leadership to a team of high-performing Sales Engineers to support Affinity’s growth
- Interpret complex problems, create simple solutions and collaborate closely with prospects, and our sales team to deliver winning solutions
- Collaborate and maintain a close working relationship with product, engineering, sales, marketing and services
- Play an active role in sourcing and screening potential candidates and managing the entire interview process
- Put the forecasting plan, Targets, tools required, activities…etc, for all of the sales team
- Follow up all proposals based on customer's requirements and standard technical specification
- Negotiate sales contracts, finalize sales agreements and ensures timely payment of receivables (collections)
- Responsible to achieve the set sales target.
- Promote the company services to existing clients as well as identifying and acquiring new clients
- Troubleshoot customers’ problems
- Stay updated with respect to product knowledge and sales technique
- Submit data and management report on time
- Keep the relations with the existing customers.
- Find new markets and customers to expand the business.
- Keep the relation with the existing suppliers.
- Find new suppliers and potential products.
- Make the pricing and deciding the margin, depending on the history and the existing information and competitors, preparing the offers to the customer.
- Follow up the customers till the final decision.
Job Requirements
- · A minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience in related industry/preferably.
- · Very good working knowledge in firefighting sector.
- · Excellent verbal & written communications skills, presentation skills & interpersonal skills
- · Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Windows, Office applications and English Language
- · Self-motivated, resourceful, sales oriented and result driven with knowledge of customer relationship management and strong drive to achieve sales target
- · Ability to influence and persuade with great flexibility
- · Excellent English & Arabic communication skills, both written and spoken.
- - Education: Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
