RM is currently looking for a Network/Security Infrastructure Engineer. Security Engineers maintain defensive measures to protect RM's and its clients' interests with a deep technological focus on intrusion detection and prevention, next gen firewalls, threat intelligence, security event monitoring and analysis, anti-phishing and anti-spam and endpoint security technologies amongst other controls. This team also develops policies and procedures, provides corporate employee security awareness, manages incident response and contributes to system and application security considerations in design, configuration, and vulnerability testing. As a good portion of a security engineer’s duties involve direct communication with internal and external clients and vendors: good communication skills are a must. A successful candidate for this role will have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, be tenacious and enjoy working with external contacts including clients..
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, design and implement secure endpoint and infrastructure solutions.
- Able to analyze security events, manage incidents and implement containment and mitigation strategies.
- Act as an escalation resource to Security Operations Center resources.
- Lead and collaborate on projects to securely design applications, systems, and networks.
- Participate in designing, applying and enforcing security policy throughout the firm.
- Educate employees on security-related best practices.
- Work as part of a global team providing 24x7 coverage (participation in on-call responsibilities).
Job Requirements
- Graduated from Ain Shams, Cairo, Helwan, Alexandria or Menofiya University, German University, French University ONLY else the candidate will be rejected
- Living in Nasr City or New Cairo or Heliopolis or Maadi or Mokattam
- Fluent English is a MUST, another language will be a privilege
Required Skills:
- Prior experience with several of Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, IPSEC and SSL VPN, AAA, antivirus, advanced anti-malware network and endpoint controls, load-balancer systems, .
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 2+ year’s security engineering experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Must be a self-starter and have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. Able to deliver results in a high-energy/high-pressure environment.
- Multitasking and prioritization of many projects, issues, tasks.
- Strong customer focus and desire to assist clients; thorough, detail-oriented and quality-driven.
- Industry training and/or certification preferred: SANS/GIAC, SSCP, CCNA, CISSP, PCNSE.
- Able to troubleshoot complex technical problems.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and network and application protocols such as HTTP(S), DNS, SMTP, SSH, IPSEC as well as general cryptography techniques.
- Some experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Perl or Python.
- Some system administration and troubleshooting skills in Windows, Linux or Unix.
