Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a right-brained Mechanical Engineeer, preferably from Alexandria, to perform all phases of mechanical work including planning, designing and overseeing construction. 

• You will be involved in new building mechanical designs, from the earliest stages right through to completion. 
• You are responsible for one or more projects of Ammar Holding and follow up on the implementation and development of the projects. 
• You will revise the projects with the Vice President of Projects and actively take responsibility for them. You are able to handle pressure and risks and suggest solutions for upcoming questions.
• Analyze problems to see how mechanical devices might help solve a particular problem
• Design or redesign mechanical devices or subsystems, using analysis and computer-aided design
• Investigate equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and to recommend remedies
• Develop and test prototypes of devices they design
• Analyze the test results and change the design or system as needed
• Oversee the manufacturing process for the device
• Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for new products
• Develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of new designs
• Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration
• Perform engineering calculations to support design work
• Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors
• Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process
• Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget
