Job Description

  • Organize logistics processes together with the operation manager.
  • Prepare and review shipment costing.
  • Follow up from receiving the purchase orders, payments for suppliers based on payment terms.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, plan loading, and shipping process till delivery to our branches.
  • Follow up with shipping lines, agents, and the Clearing Agent & evaluation of their service level.
  • Review and ensure the documents of the imported goods are correct.
  • Follow up on couriers, concerning the delivery date of the documents.
  • Direct, optimize, and coordinate the full order cycle.
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers
  • Create policies or procedures for logistics activities.
  • Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, or customer issues.
  • Responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, defining departmental strategies for appropriate inventory levels.
  • Resolve any legal issues pertaining to transportation/distribution.
  • Prepare monthly reports.
  • Arrange fleet and fleet operational staff to provide support and schedule distribution planning.
  • Manage fleet availability to meet all distribution requests by scheduling, forecasting, and operate current user trends.
  • Build partnerships with the team to determine the company's services, delivery criteria, and solutions for issues that may arise.
  • Lead corrective actions and capacity building to manage the entire fleet to achieve company objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a logistics background.
  • Preferable Males to apply
  • Age not more than 35 preferred.
  • Experienced +5 years.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • English Language
  • Logistic & admin management.
  • FMCG background is preferred.
  • Good computer skills and the ability to use business support software.
  • Good resource planning skills
  • Excellent leadership and customer service skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills, communication, and attention to detail.
