Job Description

  • Compose proposals, quotes, and informative documents within defined timeframes in order to help secure the client’s business and/or obtain government grants.
  • Manage grant submissions including technical and financial reporting, as needed.
  • Develop activity budgets and prepare for grant implementation post-award.
  • Coordinate and review proposals and sales inputs from stakeholders.
  • Articulate resource mobilization strategies.
  • Conduct research to identify new leads and future customer requirements.
  • Plan and oversee potential marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of activities.
  • Develop no cost and cost amendments for activities.
  • Inform clients about the development of company services and activities.
  • Maintain the consistency and compliance of applicable requirements, procedures and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain supporting documentation such as negotiation memorandums, and branding and marking plans.
  • Prospect and contact potential clients and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Help with competitor research when necessary.
  • Prepare news to be published on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Manage the development of proposals and submissions such as negotiation with funding and partner agencies.
  • Prepare presentations and service displays.
  • Attend conferences, and academic and industry events.
  • Stay up to date with forthcoming funding opportunities and grants matching the predefined activities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, or related field.
  • Proven experience in analytics and performance reporting.
  • Proficient command of English.
  • Strong written/oral communications, presentation, and negotiation skills, in addition to IT fluency.
  • Demonstrated leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced level skill set of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Familiarity with BPM and CRM software such as Sales force.
  • Business to business selling skill.
