Job Description

  • Purpose To deliver high quality customer focused reception and administrative activities for the School. As the first contact with the public of Notion International School, it is essential this position presents a professional image and creates a welcoming, warm, and positive first impression with all they come in contact with, whether via phone, email, or in person
  • Represent Notion International School as the first point of contact in a professional, warm, friendly and efficient manner, providing reception support that meets the day to day requirements of the School .
  • Deliver, or organize for the delivery of, all operational actions associated with the School’s reception.
  • Maintaining the Reception area to a high standard ensuring it is organized, clean, and prepared for visitors.
  • Answers phone calls in a pleasant, informed manner for the purpose of providing information and creating a good image of the district
  • Manages telephone message system (office hours, inclement weather and other recorded messages) and Updating of the telephone system’s ‘call waiting’ messages, as appropriate
  • Greets visitors to the school in a pleasant and informed manner
  • Responds to inquiries for the purpose of referrals and directions as may be required
  • Forwards requests for information and messages to the appropriate individuals
  • Maintains office hours meeting, per teachers or Pedagogical Leadership Team, held at school
  • Assists personnel with the emailing and distribution of various documents and communication
  • Performs other clerical tasks as assigned including word processing and creating databases, etc.
  • Any other related duties assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of experience (preferably at international schools)
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Full fluency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing
  • Strong speaking and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation and communication skills and the ability to work well as a team member 
  • Ability to work with Google and Microsoft programs.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of International Baccalaureate programs preferred
