Job Description
- Generate maps with GIS tools
- Building databases.
- Digitize roads, buildings and manmade features from satellite images.
- Check data quality and make topology.
- Plot points and convert between coordinate systems.
- Using Open Street Map to get data and check it.
- Digitize Strems, Basins and watershed from satellite image
- Give Stream Order for each Stream.
- Extract Strems, Basins and watershed from Digital Elevation Model.
Job Requirements
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Geography Information System.
- 5 -10 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to build, manipulate, and update databases.
- knowledge about how to use the drawing and Digitizing tools.
- Ability to deal with the coordinates systems.
- Professional in AutoCAD tools.
- Ability to create maps and graphs, using GIS software and data collection tools.
- Dealing with tools for monitoring the quality of GIS data and making topology
- It's preferred to be able to use Open Streetmap (OSM)
- Knowledge of how to deal with the Digital Elevation Model.
- Extract basins and watersheds from the Digital Elevation Model.
- It's preferred to be able to use survey equipment
