Job Description
- Analysis, Planning, designing and implementation of AV System Infrastructure which includes, System Layout, Architecture and Solution.
- Designing & supervising complex AV systems with responsibility to increase efficiency, implement new technology, maintaining AV industry standards and assist with quality assurance & safety.
- Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Set and continually manage the weekly reports of daily operations.
- Analyze the challenges in operations of AV systems and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Proactively manage the operation challenges, identify/Rectify faults, and device contingency plans.
- Define and Supervise AV systems such as Background music (BGM), Projection, Audio Visual and Guest Room Automation,
- Identify the risks and controls related to Integration of hardware platform, system software and utilities.
- To study market trends and use advanced and cost-effective quality solutions.
- Prepare AV design guidelines template for Malls, Residence and Hotel.
- Review and Coordinate with the Lead Consultants and client at various stages of the Project design. Examine the Architectural/ AV drawings and instruct/guide project team.
- Understand Emaar’s guideline and direct consultants to Prepare the Project Specification and drawings to meet Emaar’s business objectives.
- Supervise and direct project implementation during complete projects lifecycle. Review Pre – Qualification documents, Material submittals/BOQ, AV Shop drawings, provide comments/ approval for the same.
- Conduct regular site visits and supervise, certify the installation of AV/BGM/ICT related services ensuring compliance with the contract documents, ensure quality assurance/compliance, snags and attend project in-progress site meetings with lead consultants, construction contractors & authorities.
- Reply to Queries and RFI’s generated by the consultants, contractor/system integrator, Visit the site and provide comments/ approvals on MIRs & WIRs raised by the contractor. Recommend better/ alternate solutions, if required. Attend weekly work progress meeting.
- Provide AV Industry standards and specifications for AV infrastructure and suggest new trends and technologies for projects that meets client expectations.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with client and senior management. Develop full-scale project plans with value engineering alternatives that saves OPEX/CAPEX while maintaining optimum performance.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Job Requirements
Qualification:
- University Degree in the field of Engineering - Information Technology
- Certification of CTS - AVIXA
Experience & Skills:
- 10 years of total work experience including AV installations, Operations and Consultancy.
- Proficient in reading and understanding schematic diagrams of AV installs and control systems.
- Proficient with the principles of Content Management systems, Digital signages, LED systems, BGM systems and Video distributions.
- Sound knowledge of broadcasting and watch out systems.
- Hands on knowledge of different types of audio protocols, BGM systems and AVoIP streaming technologies.
- Capability to upgrade the existing equipment and solve any kind of technical issues
- Familiar with wide range of Audio and Video equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Hands on knowledge/experience of DSP, Video Walls, BGM, AV/Room Automation
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate effective time management skills
- Highly self-motivated, directed and team oriented.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
