Job Description

responsible for providing leadership to the design, quality development, delivery, and assessment of courses offered in all distance delivery formats including fully online learning experience. And will be responsible for all e-learning activities within EELU and work in partnership with academic and professional staff to translate and adapt subject matter into high quality online learning experiences with different delivery format to ensure best practices in the delivery of eLearning courses and programs.

  • Monitor activity, progress, and time-related to project development using a project planning tool and coordinate with the e-content production manager and art director.
  • Work with the projects team to solicit feedback and ensure programs are relevant and on target within university strategy.
  • Support and maintain the global knowledge base and repository for best practice documents, key tools, and templates.
  • Work closely with EELU teaching staff to build effective learning programs.
  • Translate needs analysis and functional specifications into detailed course designs.
  • Work with subject matter experts to design and develop audience-appropriate, clear, and concise training content.
  • Assist with quarterly operational reviews, preparation, and analysis.
  • Provide project status reports e-Learning unit manager and stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience managing e-Learning Projects.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (in a preferred technical area: computer science, engineering, education, instructional design, information systems, technology).
  • Strong attention to detail, strongly analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in both English and Arabic.
  • Experience in E-learning/Training/Education industry.
  • Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of course development processes.
