Job Description
- Develop and implement the export strategy for fish feed products across African markets (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia, Ghana, Nigeria, etc.).
- Identify and establish partnerships with distributors, agents, and key clients in target countries.
- Manage the full export cycle — from order generation to delivery and after-sales support.
- Conduct market research to assess demand, pricing, competition, and market trends.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and payment methods with international buyers.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, documentation, and logistics requirements.
- Coordinate with production, finance, logistics, and quality departments to ensure timely fulfillment of export orders.
- Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and conferences to promote the company’s products and brand.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare monthly/quarterly export reports.
- Build and lead an export sales team as business expands in key territories.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or related field (Master’s is a plus).
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in export sales, preferably within the agriculture, aquaculture, or animal feed industry.
- Proven experience handling export operations and distribution across African countries (especially Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and neighboring regions).
- Strong knowledge of African market dynamics, trading laws, and import/export regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic mindset with hands-on sales approach.
- Fluency in English; French or Portuguese is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Africa.
