Job Description
- Follow up the launching of all new products on production lines.
- Lead Manufacturing trials aiming to cost reduction or products improvements.
- Realize all prototypes needed for future development.
- Responsible for drawings updating, develop and any modifications for product
- Set up the Test and validation phases for products and modifications
- Gather business intelligence (patents, Technology and competitive intelligence) to identify new Scientifics trends and conduct strategic planning
- participate in benchmarking and test competitive products to gain relevant information that can be applied to product specifications
- Gather any legal documents including laws regulation and patents, which is relevant to product or affect product performance
- Participate in implementing and complying with the health and safety and environmental regulation on a daily basis
- Ensure that all newly created products or ideas will be successfully transferred from lab status to production status with minimum quality and process concerns
Job Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Education: Required a university degree in Engineering - mechanical, design
- Past experience: 3-5 years Industrial – R&D position in a manufacturing company
- Languages: Arabic, English, and French (nice to have) – spoken and written
- Computer skills : MS Office Pack (Word, Excel, Access), ERP software (i.e. SAP), 3D drawings (i.e. CREO-ProE, SolidWorks).
