Key Responsibilities:
Coffee Quality & Preparation
Prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks to the highest standard
Maintain consistent drink quality and presentation
Calibrate espresso machines and grinders daily
Team Leadership
Train and mentor junior baristas
Lead by example with excellent work ethic and positive attitude
Support the scheduling and supervision of barista shifts
Customer Service
Deliver outstanding customer experiences
Resolve customer complaints or issues efficiently and professionally
Promote a welcoming and inclusive café environment
Inventory & Maintenance
Monitor coffee bean and supply inventory; assist with ordering
Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained regularly
Report equipment issues or malfunctions promptly
Operational Duties
Open and close the café, following proper procedures
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the café
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
Job Requirements
2+ years of experience as a barista, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of specialty coffee and brewing techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of café operations and POS systems
Barista certification or training is a plus
