Job Description
- Work closely with different teams (product management, marketing, operations) to provide updated content that will be shared across e-commerce platforms.
- Write and edit product content that will be published on e-commerce portals.
- Come up with marketing plans to generate sales.
- Identify SEO best practices regarding inventory, pre-orders, and pricing policies.
- Create new online product listings.
- Product description writing.
- Source data and pictures from vendors.
- Customer service assistance as needed.
- Maintain and update relevant internal documentation.
- Assist in new product development as needed.
- Work closely with direct manager to complete any other required task.
Job Requirements
- 6 years’ experience in the prior experience in a similar position. Preferably having worked in a marketing agency
- Possess a solid understanding of e-commerce frameworks.
- Previous experience working with e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Noon and Jumia.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment.
- High level of attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Creative and strategic thinker with a strong customer orientation.
