Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

Job responsibilities:

• Purchasing materials on behalf of the Business according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms
• Bid, award and administer supply and services subcontracts and purchase orders to suppliers
• Track purchase orders order acknowledgment with suppliers, prepare and communicate lead times, delivery dates, shortage, and backlog reports, and provide visibility of potential interruptions to internal stakeholders
• Conduct cost management to identify areas of potential cost reduction and analyze the impact of pricing changes for goods and services
• Manage logistic activities as required from time to time
• Build relationships with suppliers and manage their performance. Conduct routine supplier business reviews, evaluating supplier performance and compliance
• Prepare reports on various procurement KPI
  

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in technology procurement 
• Deep understanding of the procurement cycle and hands-on experience with purchasing contracts
• End-to-end P2P process knowledge, including the finance elements
• Good understanding of import & export formalities
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent negotiation, customer service, and consulting skills
• Strong market knowledge and experience in working across various functions, businesses and regions
• Ability to cope with the pressure of having to make important decisions and meet tight deadlines
• Needs to be obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways
• Experience of working in an R&D /Manufacturing environment will be an advantage
• Work experience on ERP system- Oracle EBS will be an advantage
