Job Description
- About us:
- At Nexta, we are launching a mobile app and money management platform that will spur a new era of digital financial services in Egypt.
- The role:
- You will lead the design of mobile app screens which will visualise the functionalities and user interaction described in each of the user stories.
- You are experienced with building a style guide and design system.
- You have years of experience working with UI KITS. You are familiar with native differences between IOS and Android which could affect design.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
- Responsibilities:
- Assess the current state of our mobile app screens.
- Provide designs for our product brands.
- Define UX/UI and process flows
- Using FIGMA, work to create screens that are an appropriate visualisation of what is described in user stories.
- Assure alignment and consistent use of UI elements, style, fonts, colours, spacing.
- Understand problems that UX/UI and Product teams are trying to solve and align the design of screens, UI to satisfy requirements.
- Communicate and present clear findings and recommendations to UX/UI and Product teams.
Job Requirements
- Requirements:
- You have years of experience with Information architecture, wireframing and prototyping
- Ideally, you should have previous experience in leading the UX/UI design work for mobile apps related to banking and payments.
- You have experience in defining user flows, user journeys and Design Systems.
- You have strong communications skills as this will be critical with working not only with the local diverse population of individuals but also working with the UX/UI, Marketing and Product team members with different office locations.
- You understand UX/UI best practices and how Interaction and Service design impacts customer take-up and acceptance.
- You have a deep awareness of the needs and preferences of digital natives; what design and UX/UI will attract them.
- You have a background in Design thinking, User-centred design and usability principles
- You are proficient with UX methodologies and UI design
- You have experience working within an agile framework.
