Job Description
- Conduct, update and report on regular basis risk assessment exercise
- Draft all health and safety policies and procedures
- Train all Managers, employees and workers on the health and safety policies and procedure
- In charge of renewing ISO certificates related to the health and safety activity
- Ensure that all fire extinguishers, fire hawse, water tanks and fire pipes are maintained and functional
- Carry out investigations into all accidents and near miss incidents and report to the top management on the relevant form.
- Ensure that all environmental readings are up to standards
- Ensure that all Calibration certificates for different machines are valid and up to dated
- Conduct the monthly meeting with the health and safety committee and report minutes of meeting to the top management
- Prepare authority needed analytical reports on time
- Keep up to date with any legislation changes and implement it immediately
- Run on quarterly basis fire evacuation drills and ensure evacuation time is matching standards
- Ensure full vacation balance consumption during any given year
- Evaluate H&S team performance and ensure their knowledge, skills and ability improvement through KPI’s settings
- Ensure PPE’s availability suitability to work risk nature and all employees are adhering to the PPE’s policy
- Ensure that all employees and workers are wearing the correct PPE’s at all times
- Ensure that PPE’s at all times are in good condition for usage
- Train and certify the first aid team
- Ensure work environment tidiness in all places
- Checking firefighting hose and values etc. and report if it is need repair or replacement
Job Requirements
- Min 5 years of experience is a similar position
- Degree: Bachelor
- Alexandria residents only
