Job Description

Required for one of the biggest export company located in ElShatby, Alexandria financial manager :

Job descriptions:

  • Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
  • Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning
  • Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance
  • Developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk
  • Collecting, interpreting and reviewing financial information
  • Carrying out business modelling and risk assessments
  • Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues.
  • Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
  • Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end
  • Undertaking tax planning
  • Prepare the required analysis and documentation necessary for the annual tax return preparation.
  • Prepare the available documents to comply with the tax requirements. Internal or external purposes..
  • Overseeing the application of the income tax law together with our tax consultant
  • Responsible for organizing and managing internal audits according to audit plans.
  • Developing cost standards for materials and labor
  • Designing and implementing cost accounting systems
  • Maintain standard cost system to ensure accuracy of inventory valuation and lead annual manufacturing cost standard updates and analyzes variances to standards
  • Prepare and analyze department expense variances (actual to budgets/forecasts), monthly revenues & associated gross margin analysis
  • Supervising staff

Job Requirements

  • Relevant academic background 
  • 15- 20 years experience in financial and accounting field including +10 years experience as Financial manager 
  • Advanced excel 
  • Strong knowledge in financial system
  • Good command in English language 
  • Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development
