Job Description

  • To conduct surveys and market research to study and analyze the changing needs of the customers.
  • Plan and implement export sales strategy and activities consistent with the overall aims and requirements of the organization.
  • Regular market surveys and SWOT analysis for the group and its competitors.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and increase their product loyalty.
  • Negotiate contracts for sales and manage, renew and review contracts as required to enable effective trading, operations and customer relations.
  • Provide effective people management, ensuring daily contact, regular team meetings.
  • Plan and manage overseas sales through distributors and other relevant sales outlets.
  • Development of new and emerging markets within various export regions.
  • Prepare and submit technical quotations.
  • Monitor, record, analyses and report on activities, sales trends and results.
  • You must have proven export / international sales experience selling via agents and distributors and willing to work from the office in Egypt.
  • To develop plans and strategies by coordinating with the managers to achieve the sales target.
  • To ensure that the products are made available to suit the needs of the customer and by adhering to the sales processes designed to improve the sales.
  • To keep abreast of the latest developments in the market by studying the competitor's strategies and products, so that the possible threats can be identified and counter-attack strategies can be designed.
  • To maintain trustworthy professional relationships with the existing as well as the prospective clients.
  • To select, analyze and validate the vendors’ requirements and maintain and update the database related to it.
  • Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience covering the Africa / Middle East regions would be advantageous.
  • At least last 3 years in selling electrical products
  • Experience in exporting to the English speaking countries
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office systems.
  • Mechanical/industrial export sales background would be considered.
  • Proven experience selling via agents and distribution.
