Job Description

Primary Job Purpose :

To manage Raneen shops, optimizing sales and revenue generation .

Principal Accountabilities :

  • Manage a team of 4 to 5 shops mangers supporting shops to be trading covering absence and holiday when required. 
  • Maximizing sales and profitability throughout shops in your area.
  • Provide a stimulating, supportive and safe working environment. 
  • Implement training and development of staff.
  • Ensure all cash handling and banking procedures comply with policy. 
  • Ensure all goods sold are complaint with trading standards 
  • Encourage shops to actively promote the work of Raneen stores by displaying literature and by being up to date with relevant information. 
  • Promote all structured opportunities such as gift aid, fashions shows and other shop based promotions.
  • Plan work for your area of operations and set performance targets. 
  • Ensure that shop windows and internal displays are regularly changed with both donated and bought in stock. 
  • Ensure that bought in goods are priced coded and displayed in an appropriate fashion, and all back room stock is stored in an organized and safe manner. 
  • Take an active part in all stock count to ensure they are carried out in line with instructions. 
  • Identify business objectives for improvement in operations and evaluate implications of new opportunities within your area. 
  • Keep accurate records relating to line management and 1-1’s together with all other appropriate staff information. 
  • Ensure excellent customer service throughout. 
  • Disseminate information and business objectives to the team, and feed upwards any information from staff to Head Office. 
  • Excellent communication with both internal and external customers. 
  • Ensure your managers manage their staff and volunteers in line with expectations and procedures set down by Raneen head office and respective Head of Operations. 
  • Oversee and control the individual shops and costs within your area, such as the petty cash spend. 
  • Ensure that all EH&S  Standards and requirements are met and adhered to.
  •  (Environment, health and safety)
