Job Description
Primary Job Purpose :
To manage Raneen shops, optimizing sales and revenue generation .
Principal Accountabilities :
- Manage a team of 4 to 5 shops mangers supporting shops to be trading covering absence and holiday when required.
- Maximizing sales and profitability throughout shops in your area.
- Provide a stimulating, supportive and safe working environment.
- Implement training and development of staff.
- Ensure all cash handling and banking procedures comply with policy.
- Ensure all goods sold are complaint with trading standards
- Encourage shops to actively promote the work of Raneen stores by displaying literature and by being up to date with relevant information.
- Promote all structured opportunities such as gift aid, fashions shows and other shop based promotions.
- Plan work for your area of operations and set performance targets.
- Ensure that shop windows and internal displays are regularly changed with both donated and bought in stock.
- Ensure that bought in goods are priced coded and displayed in an appropriate fashion, and all back room stock is stored in an organized and safe manner.
- Take an active part in all stock count to ensure they are carried out in line with instructions.
- Identify business objectives for improvement in operations and evaluate implications of new opportunities within your area.
- Keep accurate records relating to line management and 1-1’s together with all other appropriate staff information.
- Ensure excellent customer service throughout.
- Disseminate information and business objectives to the team, and feed upwards any information from staff to Head Office.
- Excellent communication with both internal and external customers.
- Ensure your managers manage their staff and volunteers in line with expectations and procedures set down by Raneen head office and respective Head of Operations.
- Oversee and control the individual shops and costs within your area, such as the petty cash spend.
- Ensure that all EH&S Standards and requirements are met and adhered to.
