Job Description

The PR Manager of the University of Hertfordshire in Egypt will be, first and foremost, responsible for creating and maintaining a favorable public image for the university by communicating programs, accomplishments and/or points of view.

  • Pitch stories to the media, prepare media kits and organize press conferences.
  • Create and execute a calendar of events for different stakeholders.
  • Develop PR advertising material and prepare articles for corporate newsletters.
  • Release information to counter negative publicity and handle crisis and emergency communications.
  • Hire and manage freelance copywriters, graphic designers, and PR agencies.

Job Requirements

  • Related bachelor’s degree
  • 6-8 years of experience in public relations
  • Excellent command of English and Arabic
  • Strong relationships with relevant media outlets in Egypt
  • Strong organizational and planning skills 
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to build networks and partnerships
  • An eye for quality and good taste
  • Ability to set priorities
