Job Description
The PR Manager of the University of Hertfordshire in Egypt will be, first and foremost, responsible for creating and maintaining a favorable public image for the university by communicating programs, accomplishments and/or points of view.
- Pitch stories to the media, prepare media kits and organize press conferences.
- Create and execute a calendar of events for different stakeholders.
- Develop PR advertising material and prepare articles for corporate newsletters.
- Release information to counter negative publicity and handle crisis and emergency communications.
- Hire and manage freelance copywriters, graphic designers, and PR agencies.
Job Requirements
- Related bachelor’s degree
- 6-8 years of experience in public relations
- Excellent command of English and Arabic
- Strong relationships with relevant media outlets in Egypt
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Strong networking skills and the ability to build networks and partnerships
- An eye for quality and good taste
- Ability to set priorities
