Job Summary

Skilled and experienced member responsible for collecting requirements from customer, unit testing of subsystems and system components based on requirements specification and constraints, and supporting end users
The candidate is preferred to have previous experience in Power Campus or similar Higher education Student Information Systems

Key Responsibilities

Hands on work to translate business requirements into Technical Functional Designs.
Contributing to Test Plan development and execution.
Responsible for Plan, Analyse, Design, Code, Test and Deploy Visual Basic Windows Application.
Expert in MS SQL relational database design, normalization, usage SPs, Triggers and Views.
Determine feasibility by analysing problem definition and Requirements
Develop and implement new software solutions.
Maintain and improve the performance of existing modules
Participate in all phases of product development from concept through unit testing, testing and demonstration

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical discipline; or, equivalent demonstrable experience.
Experience Between 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
Minimum 3 years of experience analysing and documenting Business Requirements
Education domain and payment product management experience preferred
Analytical skills and attention to detail in written documentation
Organizational skills and time management
Strategic thinker with the ability to motivate and drive tactical execution. Creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions.
Strong presentation and communication skills with a keen eye for details. Oral and written communications.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.

Technical skills required

SQL server 2008 & above
Strong Analytical and Critical Thinking skills
Well versed in software engineering principles and frameworks like MVC
Experienced in Web Development
Familiarity with Design Patterns and its capabilities
Proven hands-on experience in the following:
C#,ASP.NET Web Development,JavaScript (jQuery, Angular, Kendo),CSS,HTML5,SQL,IIS configuration
Crystal Reports 8.5 & above
