Job Description
- Oversee field examinations and report hazardous locations and materials.
- Develop and recommend solutions to eliminate pollution and environmental hazards.
- Prepare clear and detailed written reports about field inspections.
- Support the EHS supervisor in develop and enforce environmental guidelines, practices, and procedures.
- Oversee waste disposal and pollution control programs.
- Following up the environment aspects e.g., water, SOx, NOx, and CO2 etc. and introducing weekly, monthly report.
- Working on sustaining and updating the WCM Environment pillar KPIs result and WCM projects.
- Sustaining and updating the Environment Risk Assessment and the Toxic risk assessment and chemical management in plant.
- Familiar with the existing environmental laws and align with updating or new legislation and applicable environment standards, to ensure compliance.
- Conduct on- environment site inspections and sending the weekly, monthly report.
- Design and implement effective employees training programs.
- Work with emergency response team to address environmental incidents such as chemical leaks and spills.
- Investigate environmental accidents and propose corrective actions with the concerned people.
- Following up all the actions which coming from the incident environment pillar etc.
- Preparing the required data and documents and participating in all type of audits either internally or external.
- Supporting EHS department on the implementation of Company-wide EHS initiatives e.g., ISO14001, ISO50001 etc. and upgrading the specs if any.
- Coordinating regular meetings with the area owners to discuss the environment topics e.g., Aspects and impacts, Unsafe environment conditions status and environment measurements.
- Conducting research and collecting data on topics such as air quality, water conditions, or greenhouse gas emissions in order to identify potential problems
- Monthly and annual reporting for all environmental aspects
- Reinforce and communicate different sustainability topics.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree with chemistry background.
- Good knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
- Good knowledge of MS office.
- Excellent command of English
- Knowledge of Environment laws & environment legal codes
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
- Ability to manage and control all types of health and safety issues.
