High Voltage GIS Installation Technician and Supervisor

Roles & Responsibilities

Erection of different components of Gas insulated Switchgear (coupling feeders, CT's, VT's, busbar, LCC installation)
SF6 gas handling (Vacuum and filling)
Erection and commissioning of fiber optic for GIS arc detection system 
Supervise cable laying, meggering and connection
Execute loop check and commissioning phase performing the functional tests
Commissioning on-tests for GIS (Testing -Primary resistance, SF6 gas quality tests
Density monitor operating points test, Gas compartment tightness (leak) test
High Voltage test
Verification of external devices such as CTs, PTs, breakers and disconnectors and functional tests
Hand over GIS after all tests including HV test to end client
Hands on experience on 220kV ELK ABB GIS system and Switchgear is a must.
