Job Description
- Estimate and scope Electrical trades during pre-construction.
- Review Contract Documents, making suggestions/modifications as they relate to the Electrical trades.
- Manage and lead Electrical subcontractors throughout duration of the project.
- Review and approve material and equipment for Electrical systems prior to installation.
- Maintain and manage all purchase and delivery schedules, change order processes, shop drawings, document control logs.
- Coordinate activities, materials procurement and other related activities with Project Manager and Field Staff.
- Preparing RFI (Request for information), regarding any issue in the design and BOQ and specifications.
- Performs offers evaluation, vendors/subcontractors negotiations and BOQ/Financial offer preparation to ensure lowest prices.
- Prepare Shop drawings and Technical submitting.
- Prepare as-built drawings at the end of the project and hand over to the project consultant.
- Responsible for Cost Estimation & Pricing.
- Follows up upon Subcontractors' Invoices.
- Follows up upon Works Completion
- Review the project documents (project design drawings, BOQ etc...)
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in electrical Engineering
- Related Field Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in MEP
- Very good experience in shop drawings of all MEP trades, and coordinating with civil and architecture drawings.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Communication skills - written and verbal
