Job Description
- Lead and manage the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on plant machinery to ensure consistent performance and minimize downtime.
- Implement and continuously improve a preventive maintenance program tailored to the demands of fiber cement production.
- Supervise and guide a team of maintenance engineers and technicians, providing technical support and ensuring proper training in maintenance best practices.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and perform repairs on key production equipment to avoid unscheduled stoppages.
- Lead the development of maintenance schedules and allocate resources effectively to maintain production efficiency and equipment uptime.
- Analyze mechanical system performance and recommend upgrades, replacements, or modifications to improve efficiency, safety, and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations, maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
- Perform root cause analysis for mechanical failures and implement corrective actions to reduce recurrence.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance engineering, with a focus on industrial machinery in chemicals, or cement industry.
- Experience with chemicals industry
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for mechanical systems and machinery.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team of engineers and technicians.
- In-depth knowledge of safety standards, environmental regulations, and best practices in maintenance operations.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and management.
