Job Description
- Responsible for the online booking IMPORT & EXPORT with shipping line.
- Follow up with the clearance &Transportation procedures.
- Responsible for documenting the shipments
- Responsible for entering the data on the system
- Track the shipments Till delivery at destination
- Review and approve and follow up the documents, processes and controls of freight payment and audit system and ensure all documents, processes and controls are updated.
- Advise clients on transportation and payment methods.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
- An ability to work under tight deadlines
Job Requirements
- Fluent English spoken & written.
- Have experience in shipping & Export ,import,clearance formalities
- declarations , knowledge of international trade and shipping practice
- Be a proficient computer user including the full Microsoft Office package.
- Be able to work in a busy environment, effectively prioritizing workload.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in export &Import
- Experienced in coordinating for shipments, quoting and negotiating rates, handling bookings, document preparation, researching and resolving freight discrepancies and customer complaints, corresponding with overseas offices, agents and consignees, and closing files when shipments are completed.
- Strong data entry skills and being keen to details are required.
