Job Description

South Sector is seeking a Community Manager to work onsite at Consoleya in Downtown Cairo.

The Community Manager will take the lead in building and engaging communities for South Sector clients across all social profiles. You’ll eat, sleep, and breathe social media, have a strong understanding of the type of content our audience wants to see, and be on top of the topics and trends on social as they happen. 

You should have a keen eye for detail and proven success in growing social footprints for digital brands and creating a two-way dialogue with audiences. We’re looking for someone with the ability to be smart, warm, inclusive, funny, or eye-catching in two sentences or less, coupled with a passion for creating, dissecting, and consuming all kinds of content. You will be the voice of the audience internally and the voice of the brands we work with externally.

The successful candidate will be excited to work in a fast-paced start-up, loves people, and is keen to learn how brands communicate with and nurture an audience.

Day-to-day tasks will include

  • Responding to our audiences’ queries
  • Building an FAQ page
  • Collecting, analysing, and sharing feedback with the leadership team
  • Creating helpful content that will empower our audience to make the most out of the brands that we work with

How your day will be split up

  • 60% monitoring our communication channels (social media) and responding to the community with speed and expertise
  • 20% ensuring that feedback is documented, shared with the right team, and coming up with solutions to improve relationships
  • 20% creating great multimedia content for our Help section, based on what’s being asked from our community

Job Requirements

  • Someone that wants to work their way up in a start-up
  • Passion, energy, the eagerness to learn
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferably a Libyan native
  • Proactivity and positivity are a must!

Some must-haves ✍️

  • Proficient in English and Arabic
  • Your tech-savvy (Ability to learn quickly to use multiple platforms)
  • Multi-tasking ability
  • Great organisational capabilities
