Job Description
Main Responsibilities And Duties:
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, bench-marking, and messaging and audience identification.
- Create social media calendars and schedules.
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights
- Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hoot suite Pro, and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
- Identify the target audience for a particular media campaign and decide how best to communicate to that audience.
- Negotiate with media sales companies to obtain the best rates and most appropriate media spaces in online.
- Book individual advertising spots, e.g. Pages, posters, internet banners, and broadcast adverts
- Manage budgets, including preparing costings and producing spending updates throughout the campaign.
- Analyses the effectiveness of the campaign and use this data to inform future campaigns
- Undertake research on industry developments in your area, new opportunities, and competitors' activity.
- Develop, create and execute, visual concepts; to communicate ideas that inspire.
- Develop the overall layout and production design for the company’s ads, newsletters, and brochures. Use digital illustration, photo editing software, and layout software to create designs.
- Design layouts, including a selection of colors, images, and typefaces and test graphics across various media channels.
- Take part in operations as required by management (e.g. field operator, referee, facilitator)
Working Conditions:
- King Mariout, Alexandria
- Working hours: Working hours will be flexible based on bookings, not less than 48 hours/ week.
- Working days: 6 days/ week.
- Annual vacation: 21 days
- Weekends and holidays are main working days due to the business nature.
Job Requirements
Position requirements:
- 3-6 years experience as Social media specialist “Media Buyer”
- BSc/BA in Marketing, Advertising or related field
- Proven experience as Media Buyer or similar role; experience in digital media is a must.
- Familiarity with media-buying, planning, and research
- Critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and how they can be deployed.
- Good writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.
- Fluency in English and good command of Arabic language.
- Preferably a resident of King Mariout or Borg ElArab areas in Alexandria.
