Job Description
- Monitor the Paint Quality trend and drive the counter measure effectiveness through process audit check.
- Meet all the quality parameters of coating (salt spray hours, Paint adhesion).
- Improve Paint Coverage / Reduce Paint consumption per sq. mt
- Plan and schedule all paint shop activities like Pretreatment, Powder Coating, Liquid, Plastic and paint mixing and chemical mixing.
- Identify and develop process improvements for paint and paint processes.
- Inspect unpainted product to identify quality issues prior to paint. Ex: Rust, excessive spatter from welding, deep gouges, liquids on metal etc.
- Ensure fully built bus is corrosion free for the stipulated period.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 5+ years experience in Paint shop production preferred in automotive paint application processes including pre-treatment and application of both liquid and powder paints, preferred product quality engineering background.
