We are a fast-growing company with over 10 years’ experience providing clients with real results. We have a diverse team of marketers, designers, writers, developers and video producers in house and we're now looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager (Programme Manager), to join our ever-expanding team. We're offering a full time, permanent role with a work from home option.
As a Website QA Tester, you will evaluate and test websites we develop as well as help set up processes and new systems to improve our teams development quality.
We are based in the UK and Ireland - but have a team in Egypt. This position will be to join the team in Egypt. We no longer have a local office, so it will be a work from home role, unless you prefer for an office. It will be to work UK time - which is a 1 hour time difference. Working as park of the Development team, this role will be testing websites - with a focus on UI/UX, build quality and more! It is critical we deliver the best quality website projects to our customers and this role is a critical part of this process.
Software Web Tester Role -
- Produce test documentation (test plans, test scripts etc.) to support testing effort to agreed standards.
- Perform quality testing (cross browser, sprint/exploratory/regression/user interface/smoke) on projects and issues to agreed processes and timescales.
- Working from user stories and application design documents, and with guidance and support from other development team members, manually test websites, tablet Apps and desktop applications.
Job Requirements
- Experienced in cross browser & cross device testing.
- Understanding of MS SQL including writing queries and validating data.
- Experience with BrowserStack or equivalent
- Experience testing mobile applications.
- Experience of preparing test documentation including test plans, test scripts, defect reports and progress updates.
- Experience of testing in an agile development environment.
- Experience of executing test scripts in a manual testing environment.
- Effective defect management including providing accurate reproduction steps.
- Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Degree OR equivalent experience.
- Experience of working in an agency environment.
