Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for administering compliance of procurement policies and approving purchase requisitions. May obtain quotations and may examine bids. In some instances, may assist in developing new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate.  Management of our overall RSA Software procurement administrative process and its project management.

Role Responsibilities

  • Create projects in Procurement System for onboarding new suppliers and get required approvals within SLA to ensure closure
  • Follow procurement policy and standard checklist while approving purchase requisitions in Procurement System
  • Coordinate with business partners and Category Managers / Global Commodity Managers to ensure compliance to procurement policy
  • Meet productivity and SLA targets for approving purchase requisitions, supplier information management request, new supplier onboarding requests and contracts research
  • Manage intake request mailbox for new requests and to provide assistance to business partners regarding their process as needed
  • Project management of compliance initiatives to drive alignment across Dell Tech entities
  • Reviews necessary invoices with accounts payable and proactively ensures the supply base is managing material levels while evaluating vendor performance and presenting findings to management
  • Acts as a key point of contact in organizes or leading cross-functional teams to manage cost of purchased materials against current standard cost while actively participating in events focused on product pull within the supply base and identification of new sources of materials and services when needed
  • Communicates to suppliers needs and expectations while providing feedback to the suppliers regarding their performance; identifies and develops qualified suppliers as appropriate
  • Handle renewal negotiations and execution from time-to-time

Job Requirements

Essential Requirements

  •  Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration or similar, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering with, and 3-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively in a variety of settings and styles
  • Excellent time management skills. Able to organize data quickly, establish priorities and maintain prompt response times
  • Has ability to solve business problems with incomplete or ambiguous information
  • Consistently focuses on identifying and communicating ideas or opportunities to streamline and simplify work or customer processes and/or improve efficiency
  • Proficiency in English
  • Understanding of Moxie and Ariba tools is a plus
  • Negotiation and contract management basics
  • Familiar with Technology purchasing and its compliance checks
