Job Description

  • Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
  • Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
  • Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
  • Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
  • Obtains product market share by working with line managers to develop product sales strategies.
  • Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.
  • Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing.
  • Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production.
  • Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.
  • Maintains product management staff by training employees.
  • Responsible for the life cycle of the product, ensuring that everyone is following the product roadmap and that features are being released on time and are of a high quality.
  • Taking overall responsibility for the success of the product
  • Contributing towards product strategy and vision
  • Meeting regularly with all stakeholders, including product developers, marketing, customer service, finance and company heads
  • Collecting, analyzing and responding to user feedback
  • Managing one or more budgets
  • Planning new features and changes to a product
  • Attending conferences and events related to a product or sector
  • Implementing or supporting marketing campaigns
  • Creating and overseeing development and project management processes

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in relevant field
  • 4+ years’ experience in FMCG products marketing and positioning
  • MBA in marketing is a must
  • Own a car is a must
  • Product Management, People Management, Understanding the Customer, Product Development, Requirements Analysis, Pricing, Planning, Competitive Analysis, Sales Planning, Inventory Control, Financial Planning and Strategy
  • Self-motivated, and hard worker
  • Distinguished relationships with key accounts
  • Experience working with designers, and marketing on consumer-focused products
  • Flexibility in dealing with changing priorities and effectively multi-tasks across multiple initiatives/projects with rapid delivery of required materials and responses
  • Excellent Customer relationship management skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication, presentation and negotiation skills 
  • Analytical and planning skills
  • Strong Leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills
