- This role is responsible for researching, creating and constantly developing suitable content for the various activities, and publications of the association.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develops content for the various sectors in coordination with the sector heads.
- Manages the content on the various social media channels to ensure that the information is up to date and accurate.
- Follows publishing workflow – ensures approvals are received prior to going live or printing.
- Aligns with all projects, to develop necessary content on time which includes ( Brochures, website , social media , catalogues, press release).
- Develops content for proposals and presentations with the assistance of sector heads.
- Keeps up-to-date with best practices in writing for the web, internal publications, social media trends, and business/industry trends.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the field of copy-writing, content development, journalism or similar.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in Arabic and English, French is a plus.
- Ability to engage the audience with excellent communication skills while precisely communicating a message using Arabic or English.
- Expert in social media strategies and content creation.
- Basic knowledge of SEO
- Proficient with the Adobe creative suite, the MS office suite and desktop publishing programs like Publisher.
- Strong experience with online writing techniques as well as traditional promotional content.
- Multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent planning and prioritization skills.
