Job Description
- Responsible for Inspection, Installation, Troubleshooting, and Configuration of Light Current Systems as Home automation, CCTV, Access Control, Intercom Systems, intrusion, fire alarm and similar products (Audio & Visual Systems) according to project needs
- Responsible for projects delivery and overseeing and managing the site labour force and sub-contractors.
- Distribute tasks and shop drawings to his subordinates and subcontractors and inform them the instructions and information necessary to implement them clearly as well as prepare drawings and sketches to facilitate the implementation of items.
- Ensures the regular & proper verification, performance, implementation of the light current system.
- Regular overall sites check regarding the work in progress & handle day to day issues.
- Inspect all finished works from subcontractor and site engineers and handover them to consultant
- Validates system functionality by executing the operational checklist in order to ensure that each equipment is working properly
- Managing Projects Documentations related to light current.
- Study projects document, design & specification.
- Checking plans, quantities and drawings to ensure accuracy and prepare RFIs for conflict clearance.
- Update shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Adhere to consultant requirements and secure proper handover.
- Overseeing health and safety
- Perform tasks within defined schedules and project budgets.
- Prepare daily & weekly progress status report and provide it to the direct manager.
- Study and revise new shop drawings before execution and clarify all the spotted issues.
- Ensure that shop drawings received from technical office will be followed accurately.
- Follow up the storage of material needed to prepare site requisition for any needed site material.
- Confidently liaising with customer representatives and subcontractors.
- Report nonconformities and propose corrective actions.
- Acting as main point of call for technical advice
- Marking recommendations or presenting alternative solutions to resolve problems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics engineering or Electrical engineering (Communication)
- Extensive engineering knowledge and experience of 4 years at least in the design of security and Low current systems (fire alarm, Access Control, CCTV, Audio Visual, intruder Alarm, structure cabling, fibre optics, intercom …etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point).
- Experience in Doing Site surveys by taking measurements and inspecting site to identify requirements.
- Excellent Command English language
- Knowledge of any 2D/3D CAD software such as: AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Fusion 360 is a plus
