Job Description
- Implement process, participate, enhance in Q.C. process definition
- Assisting in the Q.C. process as required.
- Prepare test plan, and Test summary plan.
- Verify system requirements.
- Deliver the product on time with high quality.
- Prepare business training for the new QC members. technical sessions for Q.C. members
- Go through the software requirements and get clarifications.
- Become familiar with the software under test and any other software related to it.
- Generate test cases based on the requirements and other documents.
- Create test data required for testing.
- Test software releases by executing assigned tests (manual and/ or automated).
- Report defects to the stakeholders.
- Report test results to the stakeholders.
- Re-test resolved defects.
- Update test cases based on the discovered defects.
- Provide inputs to the team to improve the test process.
- Improve team technical, and other skills and motivate them.
- Report work progress and any problems faced to the Project Manager / Tech. Lead as required.
- Support the team with testing tasks as required.
- Keep himself/ herself up to date on the overview of the development technology, the popular testing tools.
Job Requirements
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4 Years of experience.
- Proven experience as a QC tester or similar role.
- Experience in project management .
- Performance and security are preferable.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Working knowledge of test management software.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
- Strong organizational skills.
