Job Description
- Establish the networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation and defining, documenting and enforcing system standards
- Design and implement new solutions and improve resilience of the current environment
- Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization
- Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access
- Support and administer firewall environments in line with IT security policy
- Upgrade data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases
- Configure routing and switching equipment.
- Provide remote support to end users.
- Provide remote troubleshooting and fault finding.
- Configuring, Maintaining and administering computer networks.
- Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
- Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other network systems.
- Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring virus protection software and email applications.
- Monitoring network performance to ensure its optimization.
- Insure all branches DVR , Camera , Fingerprint , access control , VoIP and local central , landlines and 4G mobile network are functional
- Collaborate with other teams to develop automation strategies and its deployment processes
- Apply best practices on managing systems and services across all environments
Job Requirements
- Bachelors of computer science or equivalent
- Certified CCNA
- Certified CCNP routing & switching
- Excellent firewalls knowledge (Sophos, fortigate, .etc.)
- Excellent knowledge in security cameras , time attendance machines and access control
- Excellent knowledge in cabling, fiber optic fusion and rack installation
- Excellent at hardware and software knowledge
- Good knowledge of VoIP solutions
