Job Description
- Achieves company’s sales objectives for the assigned district (area).
- Supervises Medical Representatives to develop their skills.
- Implements marketing plans to meet company objectives of sales in the market.
- Manages and guides the activities of his/her sales team to ensure the best use of their time, enhance their efficiency and ensure that their selling efforts are focusing on predetermined list of prioritized objectives.
- Develops systems that will enhance the efficiency, analyze the activities and ensure proper feedback (i.e. call reporting system, call planning, and customer tracking….etc).
- May personally negotiate large sales contracts.
- Assigns sales territory to sales personnel and analyzes statistics to ensure the proper deployment of his sales team.
- Assists or participates in developing sales campaigns, seminars & symposia to accommodate company’s goals.
- Studies, analyzes the market and watch closely the competition, report findings to his boss and other concerned departments.
- Analyzes sales periodically with report showing sales volume and potential sales growth.
- Controls expenditures according to budgetary requirements.
- Develops excellent relationship with his team as a kind of motivation.
- Business generation through effective marketing and sales strategy.
- Maintains a comprehensive and classified list of physicians, hospitals and paramedical contacts, updated constantly.
- Assists the office Manager in generating sales opportunities by identifying appropriate business targets.
- Develops Excellent relationship with KOL’s Doctors & Pharmacist & Destitution.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences, medicine, veterinary medicine or science.
- 6+ years of sales experience with a proven track record in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, successful and results-oriented sales force.
- Able to operate in a fast-paced and changing market environment.
- Self-driven, result oriented and has strong leadership skills.
- Strong verbal & non-verbal communication skills.
