Job Description
- Oversee the purchase of technical equipment & services for industrial operations.
- Collaborate with Plant planners & designers to determine the equipment needed to complete manufacturing or construction projects according to specifications, research market vendors, issue purchase orders & follow with Finance to complete purchasing process & item delivery.
- Know about the equipment, materials, and supplies frequently used in the industry and their suppliers.
- Evaluate new and existing suppliers, subcontractors and negotiates purchase agreements before final deals.
- Procure equipment, materials, and systems complying with industrial defined quality and specification requirements.
- Procure materials and subcontract in a timely manner within the approved budget cost.
- Ensure on-time delivery of equipment and materials to the support site installation works as per the approved work program.
- Ensure compliance with management approved procedures and policies with respect to time, cost and quality.
- Prepare documentation for internal process as per ISO standards.
- Develop and maintain good relationship with suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Maintain company reputation and credibility by fair dealings and prompt payment.
- Generate PO for services and materials requested.
- Conduct vendor evaluation and registration.
Job Requirements
- Graduate from Faculty of Engineering Preferred Major Mechanical , Electrical.
- Preferred experience in pharmaceutical Industry.
