Job Description
A high-growth B2B & B2C E-commerce startup, is looking to upgrade their operational framework to a world-class infrastructure. This is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to apply their prior experience for maximum impact with a quickly growing and successful startup brand.
- You will be responsible for core operational functions such as order/inventory management, vendor management, building back-end processes to support excellent customer-facing offerings, and hiring. You will report directly to the CEO.
- Directly manage inbound and outbound inventory processes, including warehouse management, inventory management, fulfillment processes and shipping process (first, middle &last mile) for receiving, quality check, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Oversee vendor management and streamline purchase order processing
- Assist in transitioning our current infrastructure to a new ERP system
- Set Warehouse and operations KPIs
- Direct warehouse supervisory personnel to achieve the KPIs, including timely picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders while maintaining the highest possible warehouse on-time shipment and low shipment issues.
- Ensure that all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are on target for the operation, such as warehouse misses, on-time shipments, shipment defects, aged tasks, and production levels per hour, and cost per order line
- Lead and supervise the Operations team to ensure their productivity and commitment.
- Drive continuous improvement to safety, quality, cost, and delivery while growing and expanding capabilities within the warehouse
- Utilize the site Warehouse Management System (WMS) to optimize perfect order fulfillment and provide operational insights to improve WMS effectiveness.
- Work together with our Finance team to ensure all data related to orders and inventory is accurately and consistently recorded, particularly for end-of-month closings
- Monitor, analyze, and plan the warehouse's cost to keep at its minimum level.
- Streamline our hiring processes for scale and focus on getting key potential hires in the door
Job Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in all E-commerce Logistics operations, including proven 5 years of experience in a similar role as Operations Head
- Strong Leadership skills for more than 20+ increasing employees.
