Job Description
The purchasing manager shall have the following responsibilities:
- Identifying local suppliers for all goods/services needed for the restaurants operations
- Build and develop relationships with suppliers to achieve preferential rates and conditions
- Coordinate with the restaurant operations teams, cost controller & warehouse managers to optimise purchasing and cost control
- Personnaly go on procurment errands for items not delivered by suppliers
- Produce periodical market surveys to predict inflation and supply side changes
Job Requirements
The requirements of the candidate are:
- Experience in the purchasing department of a restaurant/hospitality company based in Cairo
- Good IT skills
- Ambition to improve
- Be enegertic and problem solver
- Be able to work cloely with other team members
