Air Freight Coordinator

The Candidate should have knowledge about handling Air Export shipments:

• Gathering the airlines or their agents’ freight rates and negotiate till getting the best airfreight rates.
• Prepare & send offers to the clients.
• Coordinating with our client to arrange booking, trucking & order the truckers.
• Send booking request to the airlines or their agents
• Negotiate the best rates with Truckers & Customs Clearance agents & follow up with them to ensure smooth handling of our shipments.
• Issue the AWBs at our office or by the airline agent’s and make sure it matches the received shipping declaration.
• Issue HAWB at our office .
• Issue shipments invoices to our client.
• Co-operate with our Financial Dept. to ensure collecting the issued invoices on time.

The Candidate should have knowledge about handling Air Import shipments:

• Gathering the agents’ freight rates and negotiate till getting the best freight costs according to the required shipping terms.
• Negotiate the best rates with Truckers & Customs Clearance agents
• Prepare & send offers to our clients.
• Asking the agents to handle the import shipments based on the shipping terms and the required shipping instructions.
• Checking with the importer the draft AWB and other dox to match his shipping instructions .
• Following up with the agents to ensure smooth handling of the shipment.
• Checking the agent’s invoices before ordering the Financial Dept. to settle them.
• Issue the delivery order upon the shipment’s arrival to Cairo airport.
• Issue shipments Invoices to our client.
• Co-operate with financial dept. to ensure collecting the invoices on time..
