Job Description
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.
- Communicate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Job Requirements
- BSC degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 5+ years' experience in system / network engineering and IT support required
- Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows 10 /Windows server 2003, 2 012, 2016 & 2019 based environments.
- Experience with virtualization (e.g. Hyper-V, VMWare …. etc.)
- Experience in Domain controllers (primary /secondary ...etc.) – File Servers – Print Servers -DNS Servers and windows roles and services
- Solid networking and security knowledge (network layers, TCP/IP), admin the Managed Cisco /HP switches and Firewalls appliances (e.g. Sophos, Fortinet, WatchGuard…. etc.) also Appling the network segmentation with needed Network Access Policies.• Experience with backup tools e.g. Acronis and backup strategies like the Disaster recovery plans (DR).• Experience with Microsoft 365 portfolio is a plus.
- Experience with Linux Ubuntu is a plus.
- Microsoft / Cisco certificates are preferable.
