Job Description
- Preparation of financial statements for travel services like hotels, aviation ,and other travel suppliers.
- Review and process routine accounting data for revenue and expenses.
Invoice verification & processing payment - Preparation of bank reconciliation statement.
- Handling payroll.
- Effectively and efficiently manage the company’s petty cash operations through proper inspection and payments of bills, receipts & cash count
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with corporate requirements.
- Analyze, reconcile, balance, and maintain all accounting records.
- Research processing problems.
- Contact suppliers to resolve problems and expedite payment.
- Review purchasing, petty cash and personal claims
- Process complex invoices for payment
- Maintain listing of accounts payables
- Maintain the general ledger
- Maintain updated travel files and file numbers
- Print and distribute monthly financial reports
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
- Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
- Assist in preparing the taxation reports in Egypt.
Job Requirements
- At least 3-5 years accounting/finance experience in outgoing tourism company.
- Very good English language.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any related courses
- Ability to achieve tight deadlines with a high degree of quality and understanding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to act and operate independently to accomplish objectives
- Excellent organizing abilities
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Ability to work in multitasking mode and with a large amount of information
- Strong computer skills, Accounting systems, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts, and using advanced formulas)
