Business Intelligence Analyst

About the Job
The Business Intelligence Analyst role will involve coordinating with multiple business functions, working with financial, operational, and commercial data in order to identify trends and patterns, needed to make highly informed business decisions. As our Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Driving and enabling data-driven decision-making
- Maximising proficiency and productivity with our products and services
- Developing and managing BI solutions
- Recommending Process and Strategy Improvements through technology solutions

As our Business Intelligence Analyst, you will have these main objectives:

• Gathering business intelligence from a variety of sources including company data, industry and field reports, public information, or purchased sources
• Assessing market strategies by analysing related products, markets or trends
• Using business intelligence data and tools to identify and monitor current and potential customers
• Developing and maintaining interactive and visually compelling dashboards, reports and data visualizations using BI tools
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights and reporting solutions.
• Analysing complex data sets, identifying trends and providing strategic recommendations to enhance business performance, optimise processes and drive growth
• Designing and implementing data models, data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data
• Conducting market research, including market mapping, competitor analysis and industry trends to enhance our understanding and support client engagements
• Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand their research needs, deliver insightful reports, and contribute to thought leadership initiatives
• Staying updated on the latest trends and advancements in Business Intelligence, analytics, and data visualisation tools to drive innovation and continuous improvement
• Collaborating with various departments to gather data and information necessary for analysis and reporting, including financial data, customer behaviour data and operational data
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and developing recommendations to improve business performance
• Providing ad-hoc analysis and support as needed

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in business, Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance or Computer and Information Science (Master's degree preferred)
• Have 2-5 years of experience in organisations belonging to Payments / BFSI industry and have a global client-base
• Have proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Researcher or in a similar role, with expertise in Power BI, data visualisation and report development
• Have experience in data modelling, data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes (Certifications in BI and data visualisation tools are preferred)
• Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
• Are a good listener / communicator and have strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Are extremely organised and have attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy and quality
• Can work well independently and as part of the team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
