Job Description
- Achieving the required technical skills according to the scopes and levels determined by the Unit Manager.
- Receiving customers’ technical escalations over the phone, e-mail, ticketing application or personally, according to URANIUM’s rules of engagement.
- Acting as the first level of support to URANIUM customers that he’s responsible for as per the Unit Manager determination and/or as per assigned to him.
- Handling all vendor escalations
- Performing all system regular reviews related to the list of customers assigned to him as determined by the Unit Manager.
- Fulfilling all reporting tasks related to his assignments and according to URANIUM reporting standards and procedures.
- Fulfilling whatever tasks within his technical scope that is determined by the company and which may be assigned to him by the Unit Manager that might lie outside the Support Unit duties.
- Maintaining customer satisfaction at all times abiding with URANIUM standards. He must monitor customer satisfaction, maintain it and report any anomalies to the Unit Manager in case of any, in order to prevent and resolve any issues before they arise.
- Providing technical aid to his colleagues as/when needed in a way that does not conflict with his primary job duties. Complying with the company internal system, rules, policies, processes, and procedures
Job Requirements
Technical Qualifications :
- Solid & strong knowledge and awareness with core infrastructure services (Active Directory, DNS and DHCP).
- Good knowledge of networking fundamentals, and basic troubleshooting of communication problem of wired/wireless devices.
- Very good experience in administration and configuration of the following products and technologies:
- Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure.
- Microsoft SQL server
- Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP).
- Symantec Backup Exec.
- Microsoft System Center Family
- VMware vSphere 5 & 6.
- Microsoft WSUS
- HP servers.
- Microsoft IIS.
Certificates:·
- A university degree is a requirement.
- Relevant IT certificates will be a good plus.
- Microsoft certificate MCSA
- Another relevant certificate is plus.
- Males only.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
Skills:
- Very good communication and customer handling skills are a must.
- Reporting & Documentation skills are mandatory.
- Good adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Highly organized, works well in a team-based environment.
- Ability to balance a number of conflicting priorities and make decisions.
- Must be able to maintain focus whilst under pressure.
- Good linguistic skills in both Arabic & English, verbal, reading and writing.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Delivery and quality-focused.
- Customer service-oriented.
- Ability to identify/analyses technical issues and develop solutions.
